My first date!

Me and the girls in the limo on the way to the big dance!
Our wheels... How fancy are we?!?!?!?!?

So this is the guy that Mom trusts to take me out on my first date. Looks straight enough.... says he goes to school every day, enjoys sports, short hair.... what's a parent to worry about with their daughter going on a date with this guy?

Hey, what happened to Mr. Clean-cut? This guy looks like he would ride a motorcycle, cut classes, lead any girl down the wrong path... Mom still trusts me with him, though! Either way, I've got myself one hot date!
We had a ball! He had me home by 9:30 (super late, but Mom didn't mind!) and we danced the night away! Watch out, future dates, this was a big one to live up to!

Snowmen!

YUM! Snowmen are delicious!
I LOVE my snowman! I decorated him and played at the table with him for a solid half hour. Then, when Mom wanted to put him on the tray with the other snowmen, I cried tears of sorrow... Happy again when we were reunited for a snack a little later....

Today we saw at least 5 tiny flakes of snow on our way to church so we decided to make snowmen. Maybe not so traditional, but much more tasty then the old-school version!

Dance Outfit

I've got my costume all ready for the Father-Daughter dance next week. This year's theme is 50's Sock Hop. I think it will be pretty neat and that my outfit is spiffy! More pictures to come when my handsome date arrives to pick me up.
Mom is just glad that it is not an 80's theme. I could have done, like, a totally awesome job, like, with my jeans, a pair of scissors, some bleach, and I could have worn undergarments on the outside! Oh, well, I just have to be keen with the 50's for now!

Fun at the park!

Whee! Lookin' stylin' while cruisin' down the slide!

Whee! Fun with Mom!

There are three little ducks that live in this pond - we have named them Feathers, Quack, and Waddle ... Kinda like us.... wait, which is which?

Seriously, we had fun!

Deep Creek

Here are all the Northrup/Bagshaw kids visiting the Bagshaw's at Deep Creek. What a great house they have and we had a ball!
Dad and I got to hang with the boys while Cooper and Claire took a nap. We did the mountain coaster and climbed on the rocks. Daddy-daughter time rocks!

Hello Cousin/in-laws!

We stopped by to say hello to my second cousins Grant and Keira, who are also my cousin's cousins ( because my mom's cousin married my uncle's brother), and would probably be okay to marry in West Virginia... okay, YUCK! Grant, cute as you are, we'll just have to keep this platonic!

Visit to DC

While in MD, we did the tourist bit and visited DC. Had to take the family picture in front of the capital. We went to the National Museum of Natural History...
and got to see the butterfly garden! The best part of the whole trip! See all the butterflies all around flying in the light and everywhere?!?!

Merry Christmas!

You might think that getting a vacuum cleaner for christmas sucks... but I loved it! Best present EVER!
While the little kids were napping, the big cousins got to hang with Great Grama Jolly.

Merry Christmas, sis!

Merry Christmas, bro!

Merry Christmas one and all!

Santa on the firetruck!

Quick! Santa visits Grama Ann and Grandad's house on a firetruck during bathtime - Mom and Dad snatched us out of the tub and ran outside so we could see Santa! Dad said, " Santa, Emma just got out of the tub to come see you!", to which Santa replied, "Ho, Ho, Ho... I can see that!"

Santa Train

Santa drove our Santa train ride... I guess that since he is licensed to drive a sled driven by reindeer that he is also licensed to drive a train of children through the park.
Here we are with Santa. Claire did not want to get too close to Santa this year! Cooper, on the other hand, wanted to get close AND get driving lessons.

We got front row seats to ride the train with Santa at the helm.

Wassailing

We were able to carol to about 6 houses before the downpour began... a sign? a reaction to our singing? Who knows! We had fun anyway!
