We started our Thanksgiving by attending the Turkey Trot with the Bagshaw Boys. Cooper LOVES spending time with the boys... wonder why?
We caught the turkey, though he didn't look very appetizing at this point...
Here we are all ready to eat our first dinner at Aunt Brett's...
and here we are ready for Dinner #2 at Grama Ann and Grandad's house. Both were delicious!

Diede came to my school for Grandparent's Day and I was part of a special presentation with songs and a tour so she could know more about me and my days at school. It was great to have her there!
Then, as a special treat just for big granddaughters, my grandmothers and Mom took me to see the play Mulan at the Chilrens' theater!
We all visited with my Grama Jolly, who is 98 but can still cook a mean blintze for breakfast... YUM!

Early Christmas...
Christmas comes early here in NC apparently, so we celebrated this weekend first with Emma's christmas concert at school...
... and then by attending the Concord tree lighting and fireworks...
... and wrapping it all up by watching Emma (our own little Trefoil) walk in the Concord Chrismas parade with her Daisy Scout troop...
Our own little cookie is pretty sweet!

Unsick
Horray! We have recovered, and Claire has even learned how the smile pretty for the camera. We were practicing all morning with our little blue kid camera... I would back up, say, "smile" and Claire would smile and I would snap the "picture" and show it to her, and then she would do the same... so Mom thought she would truly capture the moment.
Then we were all better, but Mom was sick, so Dad took us to the park to play, launch the rocket and watch him climb super high in a tree to retrieve said rocket. Our Dad rocks! (PS. no Dads were hurt in this particular adventure)

Sick Week
The best part about sick-week at our house was just snuggling up together and reading, lounging, and watching TV... otherwise, we are SO glad to be free of the gunk!
