Watch out! Here comes Claire!

Time: 12:45 pm - and we begin...
Time: 12:45 and 2 seconds... Hi Cooper, bye Claire!
Time: 12:45 and five seconds - note Cooper, still happy as a clam to just sit still!

Time: 12:45 and ten seconds. Just enough time for me to change angles and decide that I might need to start childproofing the house! This is not technically a "Crawl", but I think she would be great doing those training excercises that the marines do under ropes, dragging themselves through mud on their elbows.

The way we roll...

Cooper and Claire''s first ride in the wagon.

Whee! Watch out, we have wheels now! Go, big sister, GO!

Breakfast Theater

A regular theatrical performance for Cooper and Claire at mealtime.

Snowy Day

Hoorray! White stuff has fallen from the sky and everyone here in Carolina freaks out! No school today - wouldn't want to drive on wet roads - besides, all the drivers would be watching the phenomenon known as "snow". How on earth do they function up north?
Look! A snowman family! We used up all the snow that had fallen in three counties to make our little family.

Emma - lda Marcos

A princess can never have too many pairs of shoes. Nine pairs and counting... now, which to wear to the royal ball?

A crazy night...

Roasting marshmallows, swinging, preparing supper, enjoying the chiminea, and weathering "fussy o'clock" made this for one crazy night. But it was fun! Anna and Luisa came over to help us roast and taught us that "brown sugar" on our marshmallows was better than the burned version that we were so good at making.

TEETH!

How do you like them apples?
Actually, even though I have teeth, they don't let me have apples, yet. I guess I will just have to do with applesauce. Cooper doesn't have any teeth yet. Probably best as the only thing they have caused is pain and suffering for everyone.

A warmish day

Playing outside in the playhouse on a warmish winter day. Cooper loved playing with Emma in the playhouse, but Claire was not so happy. I don't think she trusted the arcitectural integrity of the structure.
