Hurray - go Panthers! We were at the park watching the train go by. Woooo woooo!

After church we went to the park to hang out and play. It was a good day!

Teddy Bear Picnic

Today was our much-awaited Teddy Bear Picnic at school. Mr. Bear was very excited to be a part of the festivities and Mom got to come and see me perform songs about bears that we have been practicing all year. Even though it was raining outside, we had a terrific time!
"I am a panda, how do you do? I live in China, I eat bamboo!" Do you see me signing the panda eating bamboo part?
Here I am with Mr. Bear, who won "Best Singing Bear" award (????? authort has not found out why Mr. Bear is the best singer of all the bears in the class at time of publishing), standing in front of a model of a real polar bear.

PS. Mom forgot(!) the camera, so Dad let her borrow a not so great camera - sorry for the lousy clarity!

Apple Pickin'

Today we went apple picking - we picked ALL the apples - sorry, there are none left now! I got a little lift from Mom and Dad to get the really high ones.

The apple bag definitely weighs more than Claire does!
I love apple pickin! This is super fun!
PS. Coop is around somewhere, but he is not feeling photogenic today... But look at ME, aren't I cute?

It's a guy thing, huh Dad?

Dad needed some help on the lawn, so I grabbed my mower to lend a hand.
Sure is cool to have a helper like me around, eh Dad? Someday, I will be just as cool as you!

We got up at 5 am to support Mom in her triathlon. It was about 9:30 by now and we are all ready for a good nap.

When Dad's in charge....

Moms gone for the weekend and Dad's in charge the whole time! Sweet!
Yeah, Mom, we have NO idea why you have to clean the front glass window all the time. Must be Bastian's fault.

We all scream for ice cream!

I got a huge cone to share with Dad. We couldn't even finish it together!
Yum!!!!!

This ice cream eating is serious business. After I made short work of my cone, I tried to get licks from every other patron at Bruster's who had any left.

Lazy River

On Labor Day we went to another spalsh pool where we rode the lazy river. It was a perfect time for some Father/Daughter bonding!

Sunday night fun

On Sunday night, we went to the splashpad. We had a great time cooling off together!

Not ALL work :)

Grandad and Grama Ann came to visit this weekend to help fix our fence and playground which washed away last week after the reminants of a hurricane came through. We kids were held ransom in return for Grandad's help buildling and Grama Ann's help with us while cleanup happened. Don't let them fool you, they worked hard, but they had fun playing with us, too!
Grandad was showing me how to use the electric scewdriver, which in turn, I will teach Cooper how to use, bribe Emma to get for us, and then cause mass distruction around the house while Mom uses the bathroom for a second during the day. Thanks, Grandad!
See how hard Grama Ann had to work this weekend? And Mom always talks about how exhausted she is at the end of the day.... whatever, Mom!
Grandad showed us all how to build a little fort where we can hide from Mom and also roll logs down the little hill to see how many of us can be injured at once. All of this is a joke - it was GREAT to have both here to help!!!!
