So much to learn in Marietta! Who knew that the sternwheels could be this big, and vary with the size vessel they are used for?
No nap, pool in the morning, hike in the afternoon and here we are atop the Mound (or Earthworks) in the center of Marietta. Whew! What a day!
But Dad let us splash in the fountain right next to our hotel, the Lafayette to cool down a bit.
We all got to spend some time getting to know Johnny and Margaret. We had a great time!
