Just a few cool kids chillin' out!
We had a great summer!
This was during our visit to the NC mountains. Our friend Ethan is peeking out from behind us. Mom and Dad asked Cooper to put his arm around Claire, so this is how he does it.
Silly time! Ethan doesn't really know what to make of our sillyness!
Look at me with a new, big-girl tooth! I realize that this is not the correct order of baby teeth replacement, but this helps me chew better! By the way, if you are looking really close, that is raisins from the breakfast I was eating stuck in my back teeth, not cavities. I have healthy teeth... extra teeth, but healthy teeth!
Look at my new bike. I am awesome and SUPER fast! I can turn and ride forever! The neighbors think I am super cute!
So proud of my big-girl-self! You can't tell here, but Mom is running along side me to catch this moving shot. I told you I was super fast! See the wind in my little bitty bit of hair?
So much to learn in Marietta! Who knew that the sternwheels could be this big, and vary with the size vessel they are used for?
No nap, pool in the morning, hike in the afternoon and here we are atop the Mound (or Earthworks) in the center of Marietta. Whew! What a day!
But Dad let us splash in the fountain right next to our hotel, the Lafayette to cool down a bit.
We all got to spend some time getting to know Johnny and Margaret. We had a great time!
So, we have been wearing Mom out with our "Let's climb out of our cribs and play!" antics, so they decided we are ready for Big Kid Beds... but not yet. First, we need to test our readiness with just mattresses on the floor. Once we fell asleep in our beds, we then rolled together to snuggle... Mom thought this was TOO CUTE! Cooper does have a fitted sheet, he just took it off just before falling asleep to snuggle with it, just so you don't think Mom makes us sleep on the floor or bare mattresses...
Have we told you how much our Grandad rocks?
He takes us sailing...
although just us girls were brave enough to join him...
He swims with us...
... and lets us drive! Grandad Rocks!
Life is good here at the dock!
